The supplement will be published on Friday (3rd September), Saturday (4th) and Sunday (5th) and will feature all the latest news from the Sainsbury's UK School Games including results, sporting schedules and athlete profiles.

On both the Friday and Saturday the supplement will be located within The Journal, whilst on the Sunday it will be found in the Sunday Sun - both of which are regional North East papers.

The newspapers will be distributed across the athlete's village and sporting venues and are completely free to pick up.

Like last year the supplement will again have a number of features written by aspiring young journalists who have been sourced through local schools. This will allow the chosen journalist to develop their writing skills and have the opportunity to interview athletes from all levels.
