Following the achievement of Swimmers Emma Wilkins and Craig Hamilton competing as part of the successful senior GB Swimming Team at the World Championships in Rome, three further UK School Games Champion Ambassadors have gone on to excel on the international scene in recent weeks

Volleyball player, Nathan French, made his debut for the GB Men's senior team in July on a tour of Eastern Europe, picking up his first 4 international caps with 4 victories. Nathan won UK School Games gold for England Central in 2007.

1500m athlete Ciara Mageean won gold at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Finland in July, following on from her bronze at the Commonwealth Youth Games in India last autumn, capping a series of successes after her UK School Games gold medal in Bath & Bristol in 2008.

Finally Hockey's Georgie Twigg has gone on from winning the UK School Games gold with England last year to be part of the under 21s team that is currently competing at the World Junior Cup in Boston, USA. Georgie played in both the 5-0 win over France and the 2-2 draw with Korea who are reigning World Champions.

We would like to extend our congratulations to Nathan, Ciara and Georgie in what is a fantatsic achievement.
